Hi Trojans!
It’s not often that I promote my own projects on here but this is one I think you might really like.
“Coding for Entrepreneurs is a project-based programming class for the non-technical founder. I’m going to show you step-by-step on how to build your own web projects on your own computer using the Python Programming language. The Kickstarter is based on the bestselling 5-star rated Udemy.com class under the same title. Get a free introduction to the material here.
If you’ve ever thought about starting a web based product or service, this is the class for you. Check it out here:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jmitchel3/coding-for-entrepreneurs
I would love it if you could back it with a pledge or share it on facebook.
Not familiar with Kickstarter? Basically it allows Entrepreneurs and creatives raise money through pledges. Pledgers receive rewards (often a product or access to videos or producer credits). It’s basically like pre-ordering a product on a mass scale; that is, if you don’t raise the money you set out to raise, you don’t receive ANY of the money. It’s a cool service and I recommend any entrepreneur to consider using it for their next product launch.
Fight On Trojans!

| Why they Started | After receiving my undergraduate degree, I went straight into the workforce at a huge defense company. I was quickly bored and under-challenged, but stayed because I wasn’t sure what other opportunities, or teams I wanted to be a part of. I was there for 8 years until the light finally went on and I realized that being part of a smaller company, with a huge mission and lots of drive was where I ultimately wanted to spend my career. We created Kareer.me to make it really simple for growth companies to showcase their employer personality and attract new talent in ways that large companies with huge budgets can only do. We put context around a job opportunity and make looking for a job fun. |

| Why they Started | Business owners have enough to do without worrying about their legal affairs. However, most firms do not provide full-service solutions, and very few will coordinate with outside counsel on behalf of the client. Additionally, few companies are large enough to hire in-house General Counsel to do this for them.Ries Law Group provides a solution for all of a business’s legal needs, and is geared toward addressing the needs of small to mid-sized businesses. We handle business advice and counsel, negotiation, contract drafting, and representation in connection with litigation. Additionally, to the extent a client requires services we do not provide in-house, we quickly coordinate with outside counsel to deliver those services. Our relationships with talented intellectual property attorneys enable us to effectively and efficiently coordinate trademark, copyright and patent applications on behalf of the client. The firm is led by USC alumna Nina B. Ries, who brings extensive experience in business, employment and real estate matters to her clients. Ms. Ries is a founding member of the Executive Board of the USC Gould Law School Young Alumni Committee (2004-2012) and is President of the USC Law Alumni Association, which focuses squarely on networking and educational opportunities for the greater Gould community from undergrad through the most senior professional. |

FreeBike Project introduces a new concept that offers unparalleled market engagement and brand loyalty with the college student consumer segment. We connect your companies with students who already love their brand by letting them represent your logo on corporate sponsored bikes as they ride and park around campus every day.
Sponsored bikes given to students for free – who in return takes a weekly photo as a proof that they are using the bike.
Each sponsored bike in the US unlocks an in-kind donation in a developing country facilitated by us. It’s a win-win when corporations join hands with students to create a powerful growing movement.
