iStandAbove Organization

Every child has the fundamental right to live life knowing that they can be whatever they want to be when they grow up. They have the basic human right to believe that no task is insurmountable.

Unfortunately, not every child is currently given the opportunity and reinforcement to believe this. iStandAbove seeks to change this enormous disservice to the youth of the world by using and teaching our three core values: leadership, teamwork, and creativity. Teaching these values will give the youth the tools they will need to grow up to become more confident individuals, to accomplish their short and long term life goals, and to be successfully contribute to the global community we live in.

iStandAbove will provide the youth with academic, sporting, and relief resources in order to unable them overcome obstacles that stand between them and the attainment of their goals. All projects and programs that iStandAbove provides are socially, economically, and politically sustainable. By utilizing all of these ideals, iStandAbove will help to give youth the tools they will need to change their lives and that of the generations to come for the better.?

Business Description
TAYO IS A NEW COMMUNITY OF TALENTED ARTISTS & WRITERS. Supported by nonprofits, businesses and social networks, TAYO is geared towards one purpose: bringing the Filipino-American community together through the arts. We empower Filipino-American youth through creative forms of expression, such as poetry, essays, photography, paintings and drawings. We are a grassroots project of the Filipino American Library, a nonprofit organization in Historic Filipinotown, located in Los Angeles, CA. By gathering the creative expressions of young Filipino Americans across the nation, we are painting an intricate anthology for our culture and community.
