Business Description
Intuitive Motion began with as a group of engineers with the desire to ride a better skateboard, and a vision of how to do it. But we had to first ask ourselves, “how exactly do we make a skateboard better?” Our solution: design a board that anyone can ride, and everyone can enjoy. We chose to work with a motorized skateboard. This allowed the rider to move effortlessly through their daily commute, whether that be across campus, to the office, or a leisurely cruise down Venice Beach. We took the benefits of a Segway’s intuitive operation, and combined them with the functionality of a traditional board. The result: a maneuverable, portable, intelligent form of personal transportation unlike any other. Ever-vigilant of the greater community, the next question we asked ourselves was, “how do we make it eco-friendly?” Our solution: rechargeable, removable, and replaceable battery power. Intuitive Motion uses the latest in SLA and Lithium-ion battery technology to achieve unparalleled efficiency in powered transportation, and reducing daily reliance on fossil fuel. Our boards simply plug into a standard 110V outlet to recharge before solving hours of additional transportation needs. From our early three-wheel design prototypes, to the world’s first truly hands-free electric skateboard, Intuitive Motion has maintained its relationship with the environment while providing a world-class boarding experience. As we move further into the 21st century, Intuitive Motion continues to innovate the future of short range transportation, offering a solution not just to enthusiasts, but to everyone who seeks the freedom and thrill of moving around with little more than their mind.
