Preppy Chic Events is a wedding & lifestyle event company based in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, CA. We are a full service event design, planning, coordination, & production company and a resource for travel & activity planning, coordination and booking.We specialize in weddings, destination weddings {hawaii & mexico}, and lifestyle celebrations {engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, children’s parties, baby & bridal showers & birthday parties}. However, unlike other wedding planners, we have a lot of experience in non-profit & charity events (like galas, auctions & golf tournaments), so besides weddings & lifestyle events, we cater to a lot of the big educational institutes and non-profit organizations in the LA area.With a business background, an eye for upcoming trends, attention to pretty details and a love for all things preppy, chic & modern, we create successful event experiences that have a unique outside of the box twist on traditional style.

| Why they Started | Event planning has always been a passion of mine (ever since I was 16 and planned prom & formal)! However, I thought I had to get a ”real” job after college so I went into management consulting and then onto USC Marshall School of Business pursuing my MBA and my MRED (Masters in Real Estate Development).During my entire corporate & school career I was the ”go-to” social & networking event planner because I loved doing it. When I graduated from Marshall (in 2009 at the absolute bottom of the economy), looking for a real estate development job was non-existent.
I started planning events on the side while part-time working for a multifamily investment company, until one day I realized, what am I doing? So, I used my entrepreneurial USC experience and launched ”Preppy Chic Events” in 2011. |
